Why riding?

We use horses as our therapists. Our riding programmes are designed to help to develop and increase physical abilities, communication, concentration, social skills, confidence and self esteem, and are tailored to the rider's needs and goals.

The programmes also provide our riders with a sport, and an opportunity for recreation that is fun, exhilarating and different.

Where are we?

Our grounds are behind the Gaslight Theatre, on the corner of Hall and Alpha Streets.

When do we ride?

We run three classes on Saturday mornings every fortnight during the school term. Weekly classes on Thursday mornings run during the school term.

We are proud to be a  member of NZRDA
